Data Recovery Fee
For clients who missed their download window or need to restore access to their project files after delivery.
Description:
This service applies when a client requests access to their project files 30–180 days after the original delivery window.
It covers the time, labor, and storage resources required to recover, verify, and re-upload archived data for renewed access.
Policy (Aligned with Client Agreement):
Clients have 30 days from the original delivery date to download and select images for post-processing.
Failure to do so waives complimentary post-processing services such as retouching, gallery hosting, thank-you card design, album creation, and print orders.
After 30 days, both edited and unedited files may be archived or removed from active storage.30–180 Days After Delivery:
A flat $100 Data Recovery Fee per project (or a flexible project-based fee) will apply for data recovery and reintegration into our workflow.
If total data exceeds 5GB, clients are required to order a USB drive to accommodate the transfer.Beyond 180 Days:
Recovery may still be possible but fees may increase up to double due to additional labor and limited file availability.After 365 Days:
All files — including raw and edited materials — are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
Note:
The Data Recovery Fee covers file restoration and re-upload only. It does not include new retouching, revisions, or edits, which must be ordered separately under a Project Re-Open or New Editing Order.
