Welcome to PKA Photography, where every click narrates a unique love story! As a dynamic husband-wife duo, our journey began when our own wedding visuals left us unsatisfied in 2022. Instead of dwelling on discontent, we took charge, giving birth to PKA Photography in June 2022.
In this short span, we've joyfully captured over 300 weddings and events, spanning from intimate elopements to heartwarming civil ceremonies. Each event embodies a unique tale, a celebration of love, and an opportunity to freeze magical moments in time.
After a year and a half of dedicated development, PKA Photography has broadened its scope with a fantastic team of 10 talented individuals, reflecting diverse cultural backgrounds including American, Asian, Mexican, Persian, and European. Most of us are highly skilled hybrid shooters, proficient in both photo and video, ensuring the delivery of the finest visual representation of your unique story.

Hi, I am Mia.
My journey into the world of art began at the tender age of 5, as I delved into the realm of painting, nurturing a deep love for artistic expression. Subsequently, I pursued Commercial Advertising and Design as my 2nd degree in University, further honing my skills and understanding of the visual language.
While balancing the demands of school, I ventured into the world of part-time modeling at the age of 18. This experience became a pivotal chapter, offering me the opportunity to collaborate with professional photographers. Here, I refined my posing techniques, developed a keen eye for layout, and delved into the technical intricacies of photography, such as finding the best angles for lighting.
From 2002 onwards, my cameras and I have traversed the globe, capturing the rich tapestry of life in every corner.
My joy lies in capturing the authentic moments of life. I love exploring alongside my clients, seizing the essence of the day through my lens. Witnessing the delight of clients when the final work exceeds their expectations is my ultimate reward. I'm dedicated to crafting a visual narrative that is honest, artistic, and uniquely yours.

I come from a storied background of photography and visual media. I attended Brooks Institute of Photography for Commercials and Music Videos where I received my undergraduate degree.
After college, I continued taking photos and videos of my travels as well as my time spent living in San Francisco/ Bay Area.
I now live in San Diego, where I am exploring the realm of photography and visual media on several platforms and would love to bring my vision to your project.
I am also a skilled Drone Pilot and Photograher and highly skilled in the latest techniques of photo editing and post-production for video and film.

My name is Nafas.
I'm a professional wedding photographer.
I was born and raised in Iran in an artist family, and recently moved to America with my husband.
I started my photography journey when I was just 15 years old, working in my brother's studio. Since then, I've gained experience in many areas of photography, including weddings, portraits, modeling, babies, families, and lifestyle photography. I'm also skilled in photo editing, especially using Photoshop.
I studied at an art college and hold a bachelor's degree in applied science from the University of Tehran. Throughout my career, I've worked with many big studios, and I've even had experience as a wedding planner.
Despite the language barrier, I'm dedicated to improving my English skills so I can better communicate with my clients and provide excellent customer service. I'm always eager to learn more and improve my craft, and I'm committed to being the best photographer I can be.
